Greensboro is connected to New Orleans. By a tank filling. Here their tank ran dry in the summer of 2005. On the run from hurricane Katrina. Carrie and Curtis stayed. Don't they miss the city, I ask. They say New Orleans was too dangerous. And life here much cheaper.

Carrie talks about the craftsman who didn't want to take the glass of water. Despite the heat. When they brought up the issue of origin and her being from New Orleans he took the water after all. "You know, they make a difference, depending on where you're from," she says.

In the summer of 2017 New Orleans is a provocative subject in Alabama. They just removed confederate statues over there. Many say: "They falsify history." Some cannot grasp that they live in a world, where there is more than one version to history.
