Lydia's House Many artists and volunteers who helped with post-Katrina reconstruction have relocated to New Orleans. When they buy historic houses, some of which have stood vacant for years, they rehabilitate them with great care. Lydia's house is situated directly behind the levee in Holy Cross, a neighborhood of the Lower Ninth Ward on the banks of the Mississippi River. |
